PHOTOS: Millipedes take over Dadieso, kill two kids

Dadieso is a town in Shaman District in the Western North Region which has now been taken over by
Millipedes.

Citizens in Dadieso say Millipedes have taken over the town and they have now become seasonal Millipedes
for the the town which affects them and it kills those who gets in touch with the it.

They also said, the scent of the dead ones invite them more, they have been spraying them with their own
chemicals that should be used for their cocoa farms but as you spray, they still come, the Millipedes are
now taking over the whole district because they continue to move forward every time.

Millipedes on the ground

According to them, several complains have been made to the their DCE but nothing is done about it.

One of the Dadieso citizens named Christian Bash said that he was insulted by the DCE for reporting the matter to him about the Millipedes.

He refused to do something about it last year, and this year the millipedes have multiply more than before,
and they are getting into their rooms.

They are very poisonous and when they get into water and you drink it you will die, two kids died about two years ago for taking some. You have to store your water in a container that has a lid to cover it well.

They are therefore appealing to the government for it’s aid to get rid of the Millipedes.
