PHOTOS: Man stoned to death at Gomoa Aprah

A man believed to be in his late 40s has been murdered and his body dumped at a block factory called “Just Here” at Gomoa Aprah near Gomoa Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

It is unknown who the perpetrators are and it’s unclear why he was killed.

Residents told Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan that they heard somebody shouting for help around 1:00 am on Tuesday but they failed to come to rescue him as they were also afraid.

They only saw the lifeless body of the man lying on the floor with blocks and sticks around him when it was daybreak. Blood was seen oozing from the head, nose, mouth, and ears.

The Assembly Member together with some of the residents reported the case to the Buduburam police station following which officers visited the scene and conveyed the body to the Winneba Specialist and Trauma Hospital Mortuary.

Police are calling for the general public to assist them with identification as an investigation commences.
