PHOTOS: Man arrested with fresh human head in parliament

A  23-year-old man has been arrested by security officials in the Ugandan Parliament for possessing a fresh human head in the chamber on Monday, September 14 2020.

The man upon his arrest said that the head was a gift from him to the Speaker of the Ugandan Parliament, Her Lordship, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga.

Reports available to My News Ghana indicates that the head which seems to be that of a child was wrapped in a gift wrapper and was meant to be delivered to the speaker.

The unidentified man was intercepted by security officials at the gate of parliament before he could enter into the Speaker’s office.

When asked where he was going to, he said he was going to deliver a gift to the Speaker.

However, assistant director of communications and public affairs, Helen Kaweesa, has said that her office is yet to be furnished with the official report of the case.

Deputy spokesperson of the Kampala Metropolitan Police, Luke Owoyesigire, confirmed the case sayingthat they are still conducting investigations into the matter.
