Paul of Psquare unites with ex-wife Anita Okoye to celebrate son’s birthday

Popular Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye of Psquare and his ex-wife, Anita Okoye came together to celebrate their first son, Andre Okoye’s birthday as he turns 11.

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Andre Okoye, son of the popular musical duo (Paul Okoye of Psquare) celebrated his 11th birthday.

In a viral video, the singer, Paul Okoye, and his ex-wife, Anita were spotted together with their three children as they sang a birthday song for Andre.

This simple act of unity caused a buzz on social media following their divorce.

This fuelled praises from their followers who commended the act on social media as peaceful co-parenting.

Recall that, in August 2021, Anita filed a petition to end their seven-year-old marriage. The petition cited irreconcilable differences as the basis of the break of the marriage.

On December 20, 2022, an Abuja High Court in the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, finalized the couple’s divorce proceedings.

Anita claimed that cheating, separation, being an absent father, fraud, and difficult experiences were her major reasons for seeking a divorce.
She also requested a monthly settlement of $20,000 and a number of her husband’s mansions.

The recent video of Paul and his ex-wife aroused the attention of many Nigerians as they dropped insightful comments.

Below are some of the comments:
