Nsutam: 13-year-old boy arrested for seeking riches from juju man

A thirteen-year-old boy has been arrested by police at Nsutam in the Eastern Region for visiting a “juju man” and expressing his willingness to engage in rituals so as to enrich himself.

The juvenile, an orphan from Kade, Richmond Appiah, who got details of the juju man on television and visited him at his residence in Akyem Nsutam explained that he was in dire need of money and needed his guidance on what ritual could make him an overnight rich man.

But instead of helping him, the juju man reported him to the Bunso police and he was arrested and later transferred to the Abuakwa South Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit for further action.

It is unclear why he reported him and what charge has been levelled against the minor but residents are shocked that a 13-year-old was interested in money rituals.
