New year: Ubah applauds Abia people, assures continuous effective security in all areas

The Special Adviser on Security matters to the Governor of Abia State, Naval Commander Macdonald Ubah, (rtd), has congratulated Nigerians particularly, the people of Abia on the occasion of the celebration of New Year.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Umuahia, Mr Ubah expressed immense gratitude to the almighty God for his kindness, grace and mercies upon the lives of the people of the state from the beginning to the end of the year, 2023.

He reiterated the unwavering commitment and dedication of the present administration led by Governor Alex Otti (OFR) to improving the well-being of the people of Abia State.

Mr Ubah commended the residents of the state for their maximum support and cooperation with the government, which he added, led to achieving the existing security of lives and properties in all parts of Abia State.

According to him, “The present administration in Abia State will not relent in ensuring it sustains the tempo, and milestones recorded in securing every Abia area, adding that Abia is now safe and devoid of criminalities, unlike the previous eras where acts of criminality reigned supreme”.
