The much  hyped Metro Mass Transportation buses brought into Ghana that flooded social media as an achievement of the Nana Addo administration left passengers traveling from Tamale to Kumasi  stranded in Kintampo as a result of an engine breakdown.

The buses started operation less than a week today with Tamale receiving four. Two carries passengers to and from Accra simultaneously with the remaining two moving to Kumasi.

The patronage has been very great as a result of the media hype only for passengers to start experiencing breakdowns.

With an exlusive interview, one of the passengers Mr Eugene Adombilla,he expressed shock as to what might have been the cause and explained that they realised there was a problem with the bus when they got to Buipe.

The driver however managed to bring them to Kintampo where the bus finally stopped. He said even though it is very comfortable and less expensive boarding the bus,he tasked the government to work on the engines of the new buses since many passengers will begin to loose confidence traveling in those buses.
