NDC Delegates race: vote For media friendly officers… Pro- NDC Media Group

As the National Democratic Congress (NDC) delegates prepare to elect national executives to steer the affairs of the party towards victory 2020, the Media Advocates for NDC has called on delegates to consider voting for national officers who are media friendly.
The group further called on the delegates to elect officers who have the interest of the Pro-NDC Media and their Serial Callers at heart.
This they said will help and motivate the party’s media and serial callers to promote the agenda and the good works of the NDC for victory in the upcoming general elections.
The group stated that the Pro- NDC Media have over the years voluntarily contribute immensely to the success of the NDC party when it comes to defense, promotion and attack.
The group expressed their dissatisfaction over how the pro-NDC media are been neglected and are not appreciated for their effort, unlike the NPP  who always appreciate the efforts of their Pro- media houses.
“The truth of the matter is that, majority of Pro-NDC media, editors and reporters are of the view that  delegates always made the mistake of voting for  leaders who do not understand the role of the media in the current democratic dispensation.
Our simple advice to the NDC is that, if they don’t change their attitude towards the pro- NDC media and other media personnel that support them,  we will not be surprised to wake up one day to defend and promote President Akufo Addo and the NPP agenda due to gross neglecting by our party gurus” they noted.
According to the group, their observation so far indicates that, defending rate of the pro-NDC media towards the party and that of the past government officials have gone down drastically adding that the earlier  the NDC wake-up from its slumber  , the better it would be for the party.
“What the party don’t know or refuse to know is that, apart from the Pro-NDC media and the serial callers, nobody can comes into the defence of the party when needed” they added.
They revealed that most editors, reporters and serial callers are of the opinion that, the NDC sees it as a crime for a media house to come into their defence hence their refusal to support their communicators adding that the NPP treats  its pro-media houses with much respect than the NDC.
This they said will be prudent should the delegates vote for officers, especially National Vice Chairmen, Organizer and Communication Officers who have knowledge about media operations and can together strategize effectively with them to move the party forward to the right direction.
The 2020 victory for the NDC according to the group will depend on the kind of National Officers that the delegates would vote for in the upcoming delegates conference to be held in Central and Greater Accra Region.
“Think twice, and take the right decision” the group appealed to the delegates.
