Minors allegedly caught having anal sex forced to re-enact for video evidence – Report

Two minors, whose names have been withheld, were allegedly caught engaging in sexual activity in Tendamba, a village in the Upper West Region.

Local reports suggest that residents discovered the two junior high school students in the act.

Sources indicate that when the minors were found, one of them attempted to flee but was apprehended. It is alleged that the individuals who caught them forced the minors to re-enact the act to record a video as evidence.

Rex Nhyiraba Kobby Antieku, reporting for Rainbow Radio 87.5FM’s Nyankonton Mu Nsem, stated that the minors were reportedly caught in a toilet by a resident who immediately raised the alarm, drawing the attention of others in the community.

Footage of the incident shows the minors being asked in the local language to repeat their actions while being recorded.

According to Antieku, “One of the minors tried to escape after the act but was apprehended. They were then forced to re-enact the scene so it could be captured on video as evidence.”

The community was divided on how to proceed with the matter. Some residents called for the minors to be handed over to the police, while others suggested taking them to the Chief’s Palace for further action.

As of now, the minors remain in the custody of community members and are expected to be taken to the Chief’s Palace on Saturday for further deliberation.
