Men are afraid to date me – ‘Bearded’ woman cries out

A Tanzanian woman named Elsie has bravely shared her journey of living with a rare condition called Hirsutism, which causes her to grow facial hair.

Living with Hirsutism since childhood, Elsie revealed that she has encountered difficulties, including being mistaken for a transgender by many who do not understand her condition.

She narrated how men often shy away from dating or falling in love with her because of her facial hair, fearing that she may not be a “real” woman.

Elsie explained that men frequently inquire about her gender, questioning if she is a transgender woman rather than a cisgender female.

This misconception often leads to lost interest from potential partners once they discover her facial hair.

Despite the challenges she faces, Elsie has embraced herself for who she is and believes that her unique appearance serves a purpose in God’s plan.

She emphasized that she is no different from any other woman and has accepted herself as a natural creation of God.

“I accepted myself because it’s natural. I was given by God. But there are a lot of challenges that I do face. Some people think I am transgender, but I would like to clarify that I am a woman. I have been blessed with one daughter and I am just okay. Many people wonder when they see me because I look different, but I am just like any other woman. Men fear me and they go around asking my friends if I am a real woman or transgender,” Elsie bravely shared.
