Man arrested for chasing his wife with cutlass at mid-night for refusing him sex

A man from Nigeria who failed to suppress his libido and consequently chased his wife with a machete for refusing him ʂɛҳ has been arrested.

The man, Raphael Chidi, 68, was processed for court and appeared before an Ogba magistrates’ court in Lagos for attempting to kill his wife, Obiageli with a cutlass for failing to submit to his sexual needs.

Throwing more light on the incident, the prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, told the court that “Raphael and his wife, Obiageli, had been having constant quarrels over many issues, including sexual demands.

“The man was heard complaining that Obiageli did not allow him to touch her at night, while she insisted that he would not touch her unless he started treating her as his wife and took care of her needs.”

The police said investigation after the accused was arrested, revealed that the union was almost on the verge of breaking down before the unfortunate event took place.

The Magistrate, Mrs E. Kubeinje, granted the accused bail with sureties and adjourned.
