Man, 75 defiles 6 year-old girl; Police refuse to arrest suspect

A 75-year-old man,  Anso Anthony has been accused of defiling (finger!ng) a 6-year-old girl at Tafo in the Ashanti region.

According to the victim, the suspect known as Grand Paa has defiled her three consecutive times.

“My mother went out to buy something, I decided to go and sleep, I saw Grand Paa, he called me to his room and asked me to lie on the bed and he fingered me. He has done that to me three consecutive times”. The 6-year-old victim narrated on Oyerepa Afutuo, Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

She (Victim) lamented feeling pains in her private part.

“I had a call from my son in Germany that his 76-year-old landlord, Mr Anso Anthony has defiled my grandchild,” The grandmother of the victim who appeared on the show stated.

She revealed that they reported the case to Old Tafo Divisional Police Headquarters at Tafo Moro Market but they did not arrest the suspect.

“We went to Moro market police station to lodge a complaint. The officers there gave us medical forms to go to the hospital. The doctor confirmed that my grandchild has been defiled.

We then returned the forms to the Police at Moro Market but they have not than anything.” She told Auntie Naa, host of the show.
