Man, 32, arrested for defiling niece, 9, at Fetteh Kakraba

A 32-year-old fetish Priest, known as Kwesi Body, has been arrested by the Kasoa DOVVSU for allegedly raping his own niece at Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District of the Central region.

According to information gathered indicate that the incident happened after the victim and her friends went to the Fetish Priest’s room to watch TV series.

In an interview with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan, the victim [name withheld] revealed that she was asleep when she suddenly woke up only to see the fetish priest having sex her after sacking her friends from the room.

“He threatened me not to tell anybody else he will kill me so I also decided not to tell anybody about my ordeal,” the victim said.

According to the victim’s mother Gladys Mensah, she felt sad after seeing blood oozing from her daughter’s private Part.

I found out that my daughter’s vagina has widened so I asked her about it and she confirmed that her Uncle has slept with her though it was difficult for her to confess because she had been threatened. So we immediately reported the incident to the police station and he was arrested. The police upon their investigation confirmed that the defilement took place so investigation is ongoing while the suspect is in Kasoa police custody.” She said.

Furthermore, the Chief of Fetteh Kakraba Nana Essel Amoanquandor III also appealed to Ghana Police Service to make sure that justice prevails to serve as a deterrent to others.
