LIVESTREAMING: Parliament vets Minister of State-designate for Public Sector Reforms

The deputy ministerial nominees of President John Dramani Mahama will undergo the vetting process before the Appointments Committee of Parliament for their respective designated roles.

The committee is expected to commence the vetting processes from Monday, February 24, to Thursday, February 27, 2025, will begin at 9:30 a.m. daily at Committee Rooms 1 and 2 of the Administration Block.

Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba, the Minister of State-designate for Public Sector Reforms is billed to appear before the committee today.

Additionally, three deputy ministerial nominees, Deputy Minister of Finance-designate Thomas Nyarko Ampem, Deputy Minister of Interior-designate Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi, and Deputy Minister of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry-designate Sampson Ahi are also scheduled to appear before the committee.

The vetting process will evaluate the expertise and capabilities of the 13 nominees to determine their suitability for the ministries to which they have been assigned.
