Kidnapping women, children can’t give you power- Wontumi tells NDC

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known in politics as Wontumi has stated emphatically that Ghanaians have already decided 2020 general elections, MyNewsGh.com reports.

According to Chairman Wontumi, National Chairman of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo’s evil plot to kidnap innocent women and children cannot give the party victory in 2020 general elections.

In an alleged tape which was attributed to Chairman Ofosu Ampofo, he was heard saying that the party may resort to kidnapping in order to force certain individuals to own up.

Chairman Wontumi while addressing NPP faithful and youth at a Conference and Inauguration its wings at Kumasi insisted that NDC party cannot do anything to change what Ghanaians have already decided.

According to him, Ghanaians will vote massively for New Patriotic Party (NPP) government based on its flagship programmes which have been implemented by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He charged Chairman Ofosu Ampofo and NDC to leave innocent women and children alone saying kidnapping innocent people cannot bring the NDC party back power because they wrecked a lot of havoc to the Ghanaian economy while in power.

“Whether kidnapping women and children, NDC will be in opposition. NDC can do everything possible to bring back ‘dumsor’ under Nana Addo’s government still NPP will win 2020 elections. Ghanaians have decided already. NPP is winning 2020 elections no matter what NDC will do to disgrace NPP government” Wontumi assured.
