Joyce Blessing faces backlash over ‘inappropriate’ outfit at event

The gospel musician has come under attack for wearing a two-piece black outfit with a ‘dramatic’ side split that some have deemed inappropriate.

The skirt had a long slit up the thigh, filled with nude mesh fabric designed to create the illusion of bare skin.

While the first glance may lead some to believe her skin is exposed, a closer look reveals the nude fabric, which many online users found controversial.

Some fans of Joyce Blessing have defended her outfit, pointing out that the split did not expose her actual skin but rather a light nude fabric.

Others, however, believe that a gospel artiste, especially one in the public eye, should avoid wearing clothing that could generate such reactions or attract unwanted attention.

On the other hand, some fans have praised Joyce for her boldness in making a fashion statement and embracing daring styles.

Meanwhile, Joyce Blessing has addressed the controversy with a lighthearted response, sharing a video on her social media with the caption: “A lot of people are getting confused about my skirt.”
