John Dumelo to contest for Ayawaso West Wuogon NDC Parliamentary Primary

Popular actor cum politician, John Dumelo has picked forms to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primary in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.

In a statement signed by Derick Hatse who is Deputy Communications Officer for the party in the Constituency, one Madam Afua Dogboe, has also picked forms to contest in the parliamentary primary.

Two-time NDC parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat, Delali Kwasi Brempong, per the release, did not pick forms.

In December, 2018, John Dumelo had picked forms to contest for the seat after it became vacant following the death of Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko but pulled out for reasons yet to be made public.

The NDC has planned to hold its parliamentary primaries on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
