Nyinahin Catholic Senior High School students beat up teacher

Blessing, a form two (2) student, who has carved a notorious name for herself on campus, led a group of mainly form two students in the abuse, resulting in the teacher’s admission to the Nyinahin Government Hospital with serious injuries.

Silver FM’s Akwadaa Nyame who visited the school reported that Blessing, the form two students led her thugs to beat Madam Mary for trying to ensure that order and discipline at the school dormitory between the hours of 10:30–11:30 that night.

“The concerned Social Studies teacher was trying to maintain discipline on campus and ended up in the hospital after she had been bitten in the nipples after been beaten mercilessly,” Akwadaa Nyame reported, stressing that the behaviour of the female form two students in recent times was very disquieting.

“They warned that henceforth, any teacher who dares disturb their peace at the dormitory while punishing their juniors at school again will smell a big pepper,” said a teacher, who pleaded for anonymity.

“Madam Mary  thought it was prudent to put the female students right at their dormitory after she had received complaints from the juniors at the school that the seniors were maltreating them  and making uncontrollable noise in the dormitory” Akwadaa Nyame continued.

A source from the school gathered that it was in this vein that the teacher went to the dormitory so that the students would run to their various cubicles on seeing her.

“When she got closer to the girls, they realized that it was no other person than Madam Mary. The teacher told them that the school was a Mission school so they should behave themselves and study and if they will not learn, they should not disturb the peace of other serious students who were learning and those who were asleep,” the anonymous teacher recounted.

Blessing and her other colleagues  got irritated and pounced on Madam Mary and bite her breast including the nipples as if she was a “minced meat” according to our source.

Further investigation by our reporter revealed that the Headmistress who has been officially informed about the incident, has reported the case to the Ghana Education Service (GES) to take action on the matter.

However, some of the teachers who are enraged over the issue have charged the Headmistress and GES to severely punish the offending students who perpetuated the crime, in order to serve as deterrent to other students who have such ill-intentions of committing similar acts.

The case is currently under investigations at the Nyinahin Police Station.

Meanwhile some of the students are under internal suspension while investigation is ongoing.
