6 times Dr. Bawumia wished he was neither Vice President nor a public figure

Ghanaian economist, banker, and currently the Vice President of the country, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has certainly had his share of political baptisms.

His career in public office, from Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana to vice presidency, has been fraught with incidents that he may want to forget in a hurry.

1. The donation to the flood victims:

Dr. Bawumia’s donation of items to the victims of the Bagre Dam disaster did not go as planned as it turned out that some of the items were .

2. Government to blame for cedi depreciation:

An outspoken member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kenedy Agyapong, recently took the government to the cleaners for the . Dr. Bawumia, as head of the economic management team was without doubt the one to answer for the predicament.
