Inaki Williams shares heartwarming moment with young fan after Athletic Club’s clash with Getafe

Ghana international Inaki Williams made a young fan’s day memorable by gifting her a jersey after Athletic Club’s 1-1 draw against Getafe on Thursday evening.

Williams, who captained the side in their opening match of the 2024/25 Spanish La Liga campaign, played the full 90 minutes at the Estadio San Mames. Despite both teams battling hard, they had to settle for a point each.

The match saw Athletic Club take an early lead through Oihan Sancet, who scored following an assist from Gorka Guruzeta. However, Getafe equalized in the second half with a strike from Chrisantus Uche, set up by Luis Milla.

After the final whistle, Inaki Williams took the time to share a special moment with a young fan, posing for a photo and handing over his match-worn jersey.

The gesture was a touching highlight of the evening, showing Williams’ connection with the supporters.
