The draw was held at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland as the 24 competing nations were drawn into six different groups.

The Flying Eagles will face an uphill task when they come up against five-time champions Brazil.

Nigeria will also need to put up a decent performance against Italy which has never won the tournament.

Coach Olowookere Bankole’s side is however expected to steamroll their way past the Dominican Republic.

Senegal, who emerged champions in the recent AFCON will face Japan, Israel, and Colombia in Group C.

Gambia will also tackle France, Korea Republic and Honduras in Group F.

The last African representative, Tunisia will also take on Uruguay, Iraq, and England in Group E.

The tournament will take place between May 20 and June 11 in Argentina.
