Inaki Williams breaks silence on his future at Athletic Club

Athletic Club winger, Inaki Williams, has stated that he desires to spend his entire career in Bilbao.

Inaki was born and bred in the Basque region and has gone through the ranks of the Basque club, currently leading them as the captain.

Speaking on his future, he noted that he would like to pride himself as a one-club man after retirement.

“I would like to be a one-club man and spend my entire career at Athletic. It would be a pride for me,” Inaki Williams he told Spanish outlet AS.

Inaki Williams began his youth career at Club Deportivo Pamplona before joining Athletic Club’s youth side. He later joined CD Basconia to begin his professional career before returning to Athletic Club in 2014.

The Ghanaian has spent a decade at the club, playing 460 games, scoring 122 goals, and providing 67 assists.
