‘I have the money to sue you in America’ – Old video of Ken Agyapong threatening Anas pops up

Amidst the ongoing controversies surrounding the legal battle between investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, an old video of the former MP making threats against the journalist in 2021 has resurfaced.

This video has popped up after an Essex County jury awarded investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas a staggering $18 million in damages in his defamation lawsuit against Kennedy Agyapong, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central.

In the said video, Agyapong boasts about his financial resources, declaring his readiness to sue Anas and hire the best lawyer in the United States to defend him in court.

“I have the money to sue you and pay the best lawyer in America. What I will do to him; I will strip this boy naked. Whatever money I have to pay…. You’ll see what will happen,” Kennedy Agyapong stated in an interview on Net2 TV.
