How people queue up to see Ghana’s Ex-president Kuffour

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the founder of Action Chapel International, has shared insights into his relationship with former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

The pastor mentioned that he regularly communicates with the ex-president, who makes himself available to those wishing to connect with him, despite his prominent status.

He noted that on his recent visits to Kufuor’s residence, he observed numerous people queueing up, eager for an opportunity to encounter his presence.

Duncan-Williams emphasized that the former president’s humanity and respect for all, irrespective of social standing, are what draw people to him.

“I’ve been acquainted with President Kufuor during his presidency, prior to it, and following it. I make it a point to see him occasionally. Since he left office, I’ve continued to check on him, and there’s always a crowd waiting in queue to see him.

“They’re not there seeking wealth or influence; they’re drawn by his humanity. His true wealth lies in his humanity and his ability to connect with others,” he said while preaching to his congregation.

Furthermore, the clergyman urged everyone to cultivate good relationships with others, regardless of wealth or status, to maintain significance in life.
