Legendary Ghanaian singer Chief Abeirekyieba Kofi Sammy has narrated hilarious moments he had with Rawlings.

The ‘Yellow Sisi’ classic hitmaker said he used to smoke weed like crazy during his youthful days.

In an interview with Kofi Adomah of Kofi TV, Chief Kofi Sammy talked about how he used to smoke weed with Rawlings whenever he visits him in his house.

According to the legendary Highlife singer, one day the wife of Chairman Rawlings, Nana Konadu got fed up with him and sacked him from their house.

He stressed that the wife of the PNDC leader wasn’t happy with the way he was always smoking weed with her husband any time he visits.

Chief Abeirekyieba Kofi Sammy, born in Koforidua, made hits songs in Ghana and later moved to Nigeria to join his friend Fella Kuti.

Whiles in Nigeria, he produced generational hits songs like ‘Yellow Sisi Dey For Corner’ and ‘Everyday Waka Waka’.
