Man gruesomely murdered at Mankessim

A man believed to be in his mid-20s has been savagely murdered and tied to an electricity pole by unknown assailants at Subse, a suburb of Mankessim in the Central Region

The sad incident occurred on Sunday.

It is believed the suspect was killed elsewhere and brought to the community as the deceased is not known to the residents.

No arrest has been made yet.

In an interview with Kasapa FM News Yaw Boagyan, the Assemblyman for Twafo Akyinim Electoral Area condemned the incident and advised people to desist from instant justice.

“This is not the first time this incident has happened in my Electoral Area so I advise all residents of Mankessim and its environs to stay away from such acts as it is criminal.”

Meanwhile, the Police have conveyed the body to the morgue as investigation begins into the matter.
