A Ghanaian based in the United Kingdom, Omane Thompson, has shared the details of his heartbreaking experience of how his wife left him after they migrated from Italy to the UK.

Omane Thompson, like any loving husband who wants his partner to enjoy the fruits of his labor, brought his wife and kids from Ghana to Italy, where he was initially based before moving to the UK.

Working as a security personnel in the UK, Omane Thompson recounted how peacefully he lived with his family in the early stages. However, things took a turn for the worse when issues began to arise between him and his wife.

In an interview with Kofi TV, Omane Thompson revealed that his wife approached him with a plan to contact Social Security Services in the UK and present a false story that would earn them a lot of money, which he declined.

Unbeknownst to him, his wife had already initiated plans to carry out her deceptive scheme. He revealed that she met with officials from Social Security Services without his knowledge.

One day, while he was at work, he returned home to find his wife and children gone. His efforts to contact his family went unanswered, as his calls were met with silence.

When he managed to reach one of his children on the phone, he said “I spoke to my daughter and she told me she doesn’t know their whereabouts. The mother spoke to me on the phone and informed me social services came to pick them up from the house.

“I told her to tell me her location but she claimed she didn’t know,” he said.

Desperate for answers, Omane Thompson said he called social services to inquire about the whereabouts of his family. He added that his pleas to his wife to bring the kids back to him fell on deaf ears.

“I told my wife to bring my kids to me if she has decided to leave me and she refused to let me see them. So, she took the kids away, leaving me all alone.”

Omane Thompson disclosed that many women brought into the UK by their spouses devise deceitful plans to receive money from the government, driven by greed.

“I can tell you that about 70% of the women break off their marriages because of their greed and how they want to receive money from the government. They even report you to the authorities, landing you into trouble,” he added.
