Heartbroken man commits suicide after wife dumped him for another man

A man believed to be in his early 30s identified as Kwame has hanged himself  after his wife dumped him for another man at Ohwim near Bantama  in the Ashanti Region.

The unfortunate incident has thrown residents of Ohwim and family members in a state of shock and mourning.

According to an eyewitness, Kwaku Boakye who narrated the unfortunate incident in an interview to Pure FM’s Osei Kwadwo, the deceased and his wife had issues that forced the lady to go for another man.

According to Kwaku Boakye “the deceased (Kwame) confronted his wife and his rival yesterday Sunday May 16, 2021 and it turned into a serious fight between them.

“Kwame’s rival had earlier rented a room for the woman but several attempts by Kwame to get his wife back proved futile”.

“Even this morning, we saw Kwame around but later we heard that he has hanged himself inside his room. We broke into Kwame’s room and we saw his lifeless body hanging”.

The Asuofua Police Command which confirmed the unfortunate incident to MyNewsGh.com indicates that the deceased’s body has been retrieved and deposited at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
