The defender revealed that Kudus’s impressive skills during training sessions leave him in awe, making it particularly challenging to tackle him.
Palmieri said that he is so impressed with the Black Stars forward’s dribbling abilities and physical strength that aid him in protecting the ball so well during matches.
Speaking on West Ham’s official Iron Cast Podcast, Palmieri expressed his admiration for Kudus’ footballing techniques and urged him to keep it up.
“Ahhh, he’s so strong. Sometimes I train against him and go to tackle him, and I feel my leg, he’s so strong. He protects the ball so well, and he’s so explosive inside the first 10 metres. When he goes one vs one against me I just think ‘Someone help me,’” he said.
Mohammed Kudus has been one of the pivotal players for the London club since making a move from Ajax.
After being shown a red card for violent conduct when the team was playing against Tottenham in the English Premier League, Kudus was suspended for five matches.
The Ghanaian attacker will play for the Hammers on December 3, 2024, when they face Leicester City.
