Guinness Ghana DJ Awards launched

The 2024 edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards has officially kicked off with a launch event on June 20, 2024.

Produced by Merqury Republic, this year marks the 12th edition of the awards.

Merquey Quaye, the organizer of the scheme explained that the award showcased the exceptional talent within Ghana’s disc jockey community.

The 2024 edition is set to offer an array of exciting activities, including the Pub Festival, which will see organizers traveling to various regions outside Greater Accra to discover emerging DJ talents.

The awards will recognize outstanding DJs across multiple categories, such as Best DJ of the Year, Afrobeat DJ of the Year, Female DJ of the Year, Discovery DJ of the Year, and Event DJ of the Year.

The main event, themed “United by Music,” is scheduled for November 9, 2024, promising a memorable celebration of Ghana’s finest DJs.
