Group accuses Abia factional APC leader sponsoring fake forgery allegation over defeat by ex-Nigerian minister, Ogah

Progressive Youths for Justice & Development Initiative (PYJDI), an umbrella group in the fold of governing All Progressives Congress (APC)  on Sunday, says it has uncovered the evil machinations of few serial losers cum unscrupulous party members to malign and the main Abia state Gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah.

The group noted the latest among other evil machination by these nest of disgruntled party members, and backed by the Abia factional leader of APC, Mr Ikechi Emenike was the recent purported lawsuits alleging forgery of  election results which emanated from the concluded gubernatorial primaries held in Abia state by the latter, describing the unfolding development as political victimization smacked of  personal selfish aggrandisements to score cheap political gains.

Recall that reports had surfaced on Thursday,  purporting that an Umuahia Magistrate Court in Abia state,  had slammed a bench warrant on the APC gubernatorial Candidate in Abia state and the immediate past Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,  Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah.

The report also purported that the Abia court had ordered the state police commissioner to arrest and detain Ogah for failing to appear before it to answer a question of alleged forgery brought before it by a faction of the APC in Abia state.

But reacting to the purported accusation of forgery against the Abia All Progressives Congress gubernatorial standard-bearer in a worded press statement on Sunday in Abuja, the Progressive Youths for Justice & Development Initiatives,  regretted that Emenike and co-travelers descended too low and deliberately refused to toe the path of laws by accepting defeat, instead they had resorted to cheap political blackmails as obviously demonstrated in the current trumped-up criminal charges against Uche Ogah before a magistrate Court in Abia on alleged forgery of election results, describing the ex-minister as a man of proven integrity, and uncommon acumen, and requisite capacity and dexterity to address and tackle headlong the myriads of challenges impeding the human and economic growths and as well as Infrastructural development in the state when given the maximum supports to emerge successfully in the forthcoming governorship elections in March 2023 as the next Abia governor.

The pro-democracy group also drew the attention of the Nigeria Security agencies on the uncovered and hatched grand plan by Abia serial election loser and Abia factional party leader according to intelligence information reliably gathered, to initiate and stage mange match protest in umuahia and Aba aimed at pressurizing the Nigerian judiciary, particularly the appellate court and the supreme court of Nigeria into succumbing to their whims and caprices, and as well as carry out inordinate ambitions and biddings.

According to the APC youth body, “Mr Ikechi Emenike’s devious antics and and curry undue sympathy from the populaces in Abia, and also absolve himself from the open illegalities aided by some past mischevious national officers of the party in Abuja. This lastest undemocratic, infantile and outdated style of Emenike’s will hit the rock like a pack of cards as nothing good comes out from him, instead his continued demonstrations and penchant to destroying every laudable strides recorded in the development of APC Abia, and indeed, the entire igbo nation”.

The advocacy organzation also drew the attention of Ikechi Emenike and co-travelers that it verifiably remains on record that Uche Ogah maintains clean bill of healths in public services as then Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, and in private sector-driven business investment as foremost industrist with business conglomerates across Abia, African continent, and the globe, adding that Ogah stood tall among equal who contributed immensely in Nigeria’s developing economies and economic divertification through boosting of the nation’s revenue generation base.

While calling on Nigerian judiciary and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to shun pressures on whatever guises from Ikechi Emenike and group of his acolytes to subvert genuine democratic process and the rule of law regarding to the conducted party gubernatorial primaries, and the recent affirmation of Uche Ogah as authentic All Progressives Congress Gubernatorial Candidate imm in Abia state,  Progressive Youths for Justice and Development Initiative (PYJDI) commended the judiciary arm of government in Nigeria for saving APC from abysmal failure, catastrophy and political oblivion with the landmark judegment that legitimately affirmed Ogah as duly elected and main gubernatorial candidate of the party, and further cmat Ogah possessed the wherewithal and the requisite capacity, ability and the need contacts resuscitate and drive transformation in critical facets of Abia economic survival.
