Ghanaian content creator ”Wode Maya” quits YouTube

Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, popularly known as Wode Maya posted on his YouTube channel that he is quitting YouTube.

Wode Maya is a content creator from Ghana who shares his content on YouTube. He has taken this as his profession since 2012. The aim of his channel is to promote Africa. ”Changing the negative narrative of Africa” is his motor. Maya has traveled to about  30 African countries since he started his journey. He has been able to build over 1.5million followers and also received a plug from YouTube for being a consistent YouTuber.

Recently, Wode Maya travelled to Caribbean countries in the dream of showcasing the culture in the Caribbean countries that is similar to Africa. He managed to visit Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname and Jamaica.

The first video is ”Wode Maya is I’m quitting YouTube”. This video shocked his followers.

Meanwhile, Wode Maya have open a new office in Ghana to boost his YouTube journey.
