Ghana Set to Host 3rd West Africa Pharma Healthcare Exhibition
Accra, Ghana is gearing up to host the highly anticipated 3rd West Africa Pharma Healthcare Exhibition, signaling a significant boost for the country’s pharmaceutical sector.
Organized by Wegvoraus Exhibition, India, in collaboration with Ghana’s Ministry of Health and Ministry of Trade and Industry, the event is scheduled to take place from May 8th to 10th, 2024, at the prestigious Accra International Conference Center.
The exhibition promises to provide a unique platform for Ghanaian and West African pharmaceutical companies to network and engage with global suppliers, fostering valuable partnerships and driving innovation in the industry. With a focus on the theme “Advancing Healthcare Through Innovation,” the event aims to showcase the latest advancements in pharmaceutical technology and digital healthcare solutions.
Mr. Kwame Mensah, Director of Pharmaceutical Affairs at the Ministry of Health, emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange within the pharmaceutical sector. He highlighted Ghana’s commitment to becoming a regional hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, noting the government’s efforts to create a conducive business environment for industry stakeholders.
In addition to the exhibition, a series of seminars and workshops will be held to facilitate discussions on key topics such as regulatory compliance, market trends, and investment opportunities in the healthcare sector. Industry experts and thought leaders from across the globe will share insights and best practices to help drive growth and innovation in Ghana’s pharmaceutical industry.
