Frequent SEX prevent HEART ATTACKS according to Science

We already know that having sex not only feels spectacular, but it’s ridiculously good for your health, too. It boosts your immune system, protects from certain cancers, relieves stress, improves your mood, and helps you sleep better.

And now, thanks to a new study, we also know that it protects you from heart attacks and keeps your ticker in tip-top shape, so clearly, sex truly is a win-win activity and is definitely nature’s best medicine.

For the study, researchers tracked 1,165 men between the ages of 40 and 70 for an average of 16 years, and analyzed their health history in order to understand the relationship between sexual activity and cardiovascular health.

The research discovered that the men who had the most sex had the lowest risk of developing cardiovascular disease, and to get into more specifics, those who had sex two to three times per week were 45 percent less likely to have heart problems than those who only got it on once a month.
This study is particularly noteworthy because the researchers took factors like overall health, blood pressure, and whether the men were smokers or not into consideration, and the results still proved that sex alone is a factor powerful enough to reduce the risk of heart disease.

Sex researcher Dr. Justin Lehmiller says that “there seems to be something unique about sexual activity when it comes to heart health,”

Lehmiller believes that the reason why sex is so good for heart health is because it’s a form of exercise, but more importantly because it’s a powerful stress reliever, which is always a good thing.

A separate study conducted at Princeton University found that having sex every day results in cell growth in the hippocampus — the area of your brain responsible in part for keeping stress levels in check — which means you’ll feel less stressed out.

Furthermore, researchers discovered in a different study that people who had sex daily for just two weeks had lower blood pressure than those who were chaste. And lower blood pressure means a lower risk of heart disease.

So, with that said, let’s all make an effort to have more sex. You know, for health reasons.
