Estranged wife bites off husband’s nose during fight over GH₵1,500

An argument between a couple at Gomoa Buduatta in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region has left a 40-year-old husband, James Batman, severely injured after his estranged wife, Abena Dorah, allegedly bit off his nose during a dispute over GH₵1,500.

The incident occurred on Friday, November 15, 2024, when James, who had been separated from Abena for some time, visited her house to retrieve his television.

However, after he returned home, Abena accused him of stealing her GH1,500, sparking a confrontation, according to a report by adomonline.com.

According to an eyewitness, Fredrick Okantey, the situation escalated when Abena confronted James while he was playing cards.

The exchange quickly turned into a heated argument and then generated into a fight.

During the altercation, Abena allegedly knocked James down and bit off his nose.

The police have confirmed the incident and have commenced investigations, the report added.
