Robert Missinou, the security man described as ‘Owusu Bempah’s Usain Bolt’ has disclosed that the only thing that can let him continue with his work at the Odorkor Branch of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries International is when he is armed with two pistols, MyNewsGh.com reports.

He reveals that one of the pistols will be used in firing warning shots to scare intruders and other to shoot at targets in such situation thanking God for a miraculous escape from the claws of the machete-wielding youth.

“If I will continue to do this work I need a weapon. Silent pistol and one for warning shots. If the thing happens I can give warning shots. If the person wants to come for me I can shoot the person’s leg or hand”, he revealed.

Detailing what actually happened before he abandoned his duty post he told Citi TV’s Umar Sanda “I woke up reading a bible…after that I put my cloth round my waist to go and bath. My sister told me John Boye had come to see me when I came out I saw that the machete-wielding youth had besieged the place. I was scared so I closed both the small and main gate. I realized someone scaled the wall and came and open the gate. They all came in and started beating me. One of them picked a chair to hit me and I got the chance and runaway”

According to him on his return, he realized that a lot of the Church’s property had been destroyed wondering what his fate would have been if he failed to take solace in his heels.

The athletic skills exhibited by the security man who was only running for safety has become a topical issue with many asking if he cannot be recruited to represent Ghana in the next Olympics considering his potentials.
