Kotoko beat Inter Allies FC 3-0 to prepare for CAF Confederation Cup

Asante Kotoko gave their Africa preparations a huge boost by beating Inter Allies 3-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, December 5.

The Confederation Cup campaigners broke the deadlock in the 44th minutes as Amos Frimpong stepped up to convert from the spot to give the Reds the lead.

In the second half, Asante Kotoko increased their tempo as a low cross found Naby Keita few minutes he came on to increase the tally for the Porcupines.

Inter Allies kept pushing for a consolation but the resilient Asante Kotoko defence was equally up to the task.

New signing Martin Antwi scored his second goal for the club when he slid to connect home in the 92nd minute to give Kotoko a major boost ahead of Africa.

The Porcupine Warriors are preparing for their CAF Confederation campaign and used the friendly to test their match readiness.

Asante Kotoko will now face a stern opposition from Kenyan outfit Kariobangi Sharks in the first round of the CAF Confederations Cup.
