DNA test is unnecessary – Musician Nana Tabiri

Legendary Highlife musician Nana Tabiri has cautioned married couples to debunk results from DNA tests since identical twins can have different blood groups.

DNA tests have become very rampant in our era because of the trust people are losing in marriages. As a result, homes are broken, marriages are collapsing and children are losing parental attention and care because of DNA results.

Speaking on the topic with Actress Martha Joyce (MATJOY) on Oyerepa TV CineFie, Nana Tabiri said” recent calls on DNA test is because ladies of today cannot align with one man but do you know you can run a DNA test with your biological siblings and the test will disprove the identity of you all?

He said, you can marry and be in the house with your children and wife for many years without the lady having intimacy with another man but DNA will still disprove your children’s identity and even identical twins have different mindset, character and blood group. The fact that we are biological siblings doesn’t mean we should belong to the same blood group.

I resemble my grandfather and anybody who knows me cannot differentiate my grandfather and me.

I lived with my grandfather and did a lot with him so DNA test would have failed my parents if they tried to conduct one for me

Musician Nana Tabiri told Actress Martha Joyce (MATJOY) on Oyerepa TV CineFie

Nana Tabiri, who began his music and cultural career in the early 80s, is credited with songs such as ‘Sɛ Asa’, ‘Apim Abu’, ‘Boaduwaa’, ‘Abrantiwaa’, ‘Obenebene’, ‘Bibi Besi’, ‘Bediako’, and a host of others.
