C/R: Church building collapse kills 2 at Gomoa Akotsi

Two children, Asare Danso Abiam, 3 years and Michael Acquah 14 years, have died while five others are in critical condition after an uncompleted Church Building collapsed on them at Gomoa Akotsi in the Central Region.

The Church Members of New Heaven of Grace Chapel International were having a meeting when the unfortunate incident happened on Monday, October 10, 2022 evening during a rainstorm.

Report indicates that the church members including the children were running from the Church building when a falling block hit them resulting in the instant death of the two children leaving five in critical condition receiving treatment at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital.

The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Winneba Special and Trauma Hospital Mortuary.

The case has been reported to the Gomoa Akotsi Police Station for investigation.
