One person has sustained serious injuries after the roof of the GAME Shop located within the Accra Mall at the Tetteh Quarshie Roundabout in Accra, collapsed.

The incident occurred on the morning of Thursday, 11 October 2018. An eyewitness narrated that the situation resulted in panic and fear.

Reports say anxious workers at the centre and hordes of shoppers, ran helter-skelter for their lives.

According to the eyewitness, some people who were trapped have been rescued and rushed to a nearby clinic for treatment.

Meanwhile, security officers and personnel for the Ghana National Fire Service have secured the premises to prevent further injuries and any impending disaster.
