Breaking News: Confusion ROCKS Andani Family over the final implementation of Roadmap to PEACE

Sharp divisions have emerged within the Andani Royal Family over the implementation of the last lap of the roadmap to peace as communicated by the three Eminent Chiefs led by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, MyNewsGh.com has filed.

Whereas one group claims it is the legitimate royal members and mouth piece another thinks otherwise and has described the first group as faceless persons whose activities are alien to the family.

Last Saturday, a first group emerged and claimed that those who represented the Andanis at the Jubilee House during the presentation of the document on the road map to peace in Dagbon by the Asantehene, Otumfuo OseiTutu II, were not the true representatives of the family.

It further stated that it had pulled out of the process and will therefore not perform the funeral of the late Ya-Naa Yakubu Andani II accusing the committee of three Eminent Chiefs of bias.

It therefore vowed not to respect the roadmap declaration by the committee to restore peace in Dagbon as earlier agreed and being implemented.

But a counter group that calls itself the legitimate Andani Family on Monday at a press conference covered by MyNewsGh.com, stated that it is committed to the entire process and will not back down as claimed by some faceless persons.

“Let it be known by all that the Andani Royal Family accepts this decision and will implement it soon after members of the Abudu RoyalFamilycompletes the funeral rites of the former Ya-Naa Mahamadu Abdulai. The decision is based on the Roadmap to peace agreed upon by the two royal families on March 30, 2006”, Yussif Baba who read the press statement said.

He also called on the security agencies to up their game and deal with Kampakuyaa Naa Abdulai Yakubu Andani should he and imposters it described as faceless persons create greater problems than what exists inDagbon.

“Let the Kampakuya Naa and the faceless so-called Andani Family representatives to the peace talks know that if they create problems greater than what exists in Dagbon now, the law will deal with them. No one is bigger than the law”, it stated.
