Bosomtwe: Man burnt to death in his car at Tetrefu

Fear has gripped residents of Tetrefu in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region after discovering burnt body of an unknown man in a car.

The deceased according to eyewitness is suspected to have been killed and burned with his car by unknown assailants at the outskirt of the community.

The yet to be identified man was burnt beyond recognition in a saloon car with registration number GT-2887-22.

Speaking to OTEC News Jacob Agyenim Boateng, the Assembly Member of the area, Hon Kusi Obodum said the residents in the area discovered the charred body of the deceased on Monday, June 5, 2023.

“The vehicle was parked in-between Tetrefu-Homabenase road, even that, whoever did that, drove the car some 40 metres away from the main road before committing the crime”.

“We have no idea what might have led to the death of the victim and so we immediately informed police at Kuntenase who have since taking over investigations into the incident “.

Body of the deceased man, he noted has been conveyed to the morgue by police.
