Bola Ray, KOD, other celebrities endorse ‘+233 Peace March’

Let Love Lead, a non-governmental organization committed to promoting social cohesion and development has garnered significant celebrity endorsements for its upcoming +233 Peace March.

The event, set for Saturday, October 5, 2024, aims to encourage peaceful coexistence ahead of the December 2024 general elections.

Among the high-profile personalities backing the initiative are media mogul Bola Ray, media personality Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), footballer Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, actor Kalybos, filmmaker Kofi Asamoah, National Service Scheme Deputy Director Gifty Oware, and Bishop Sam Owusu.

These influential figures, alongside other notable organizations like the Electoral Commission and the Office of the National Chief Imam, have all confirmed their participation.

The march will begin at 6:00 AM from the Accra Mall, passing through key landmarks such as Opeabea and the 37 Military Hospital, before concluding at the El Wak Sports Stadium. The route has been designed to maximize visibility and reinforce the message of peace and unity.

With endorsements from various sectors, including political parties, security agencies, religious bodies, and civic groups, the +233 Peace March aims to emphasize that peaceful elections are a shared national responsibility.

Organizers have also extended invitations to former President John Agyekum Kufuor, celebrities, social media influencers, High Commissioners, and Ambassadors to join the cause.

By leveraging the influence of these prominent figures, the march hopes to inspire a broad audience to prioritize peace throughout the electoral process.
