Attorney-General and EOCO arrest wife of former National Signal Bureau boss

Madam Adjei-Boateng, who is the wife of Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the immediate past Director-General of the National Signal Bureau, was apprehended in a suburb of Accra at approximately 12 noon on Friday, March 21, 2025.

Her arrest follows that of her husband, Adu-Boahene, who was taken into custody at the Kotoka International Airport around 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025.

According to sources, the arrests form part of a broader investigation into organized financial crimes, with authorities focusing on recovering significant sums of money allegedly lost to the state.

Law enforcement officials have yet to disclose the specific charges against the suspects, but investigations are expected to intensify in the coming days as authorities work to unravel the full scope of the alleged financial infractions.
