Anas demanded $150 million from Nyantakyi to drop the exposé – Kennedy Agyapong

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agaypong has described as bluff investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas GHC25 million defamation suit.

The maverick politician told Accra based Asempa FM that, the money is peanut and he will not struggle to pay.

Kennedy Agyapong who was speaking to the station from China insisted that he is having the evidence to buttress his allegations of Anas being a blackmailer.

Meanwhile, he has also dropped a bombshell claiming that, Anas Aremeyaw Anas demanded an amount of $150 million from Kwesi Nyantakyi so he will drop the tape against him.

He has also threatened to demand from the court to allow Anas take off his hood when the two meet in court.

Anas is seeking reliefs including general damages for libel against Mr Agyapong, as well as aggravated damages arising from some libelous comments published by Mr Agyapong in the sum of GHC25million.

The Controversial lawmaker for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong is indeed determined to go all lengths with investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

He is carrying through his promise of premiering what he calls “Who Watches the Watchman” to prove his claims that Anas and his Tiger PI crew are not credible as many Ghanaians think.

Mr Kennedy Agyapong in the last couple of weeks has descended on the undercover journalist calling him names including a blackmailer, an extortionist and a criminal who needs to be hanged.

Earlier this week he promised to premiere his version of a movie on Anas maintain his earlier stance that the journalist has perpetrated a lot of havoc to the citizenry and deserves to be hanged.
