‘Am I dreaming?’ – Watch Mahama’s reaction to mammoth crowd at NDC’s rally in Kumasi

The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, is in the Ashanti Region for a six-day campaign.

The former president led a rally of his party at the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, on December 2, 2024, as part of his campaign.

Thousands of people attended the event to the amazement of Mahama, the 4th President of the 4th Republic of Ghana.

He indicated that the number of people at the rally grounds explains why leading members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) have become so disturbed about the December 7, 2024, election.

“Someone should wake me up. Am I dreaming? Are we in Kumasi? Are we in Asanteman? Eii.

“This is why Dr Bawumia can’t sleep. This is why when all of them go to sleep, they dream of Mahama. Any time they make utterances, they mistakenly mention my name,” he said in Twi.

He added, “I sense that something big is going to happen in Asanteman during this year’s election.”
