Agona West NDC PC granted bailed

at the Parliamentary Candidate for Agona West Paul Ofori-Amuah has finally been granted bail.

According to the Police, he was granted bail after his caution statement was taken by the Police in the Central Region.

Paul Ofori-Amuah is expected to assist the Police in its investigations.

The NDC’s Agona West Constituency Parliamentary Candidate, Paul Ofori-Amuah was detained by the Police in the Central Region after it was found out that he issued cheques to some persons suspected to be plotting the death of member of Parliament for Agona West Cynthia Mamle Morrison.

He is said to have been provisionally with preparation to commit murder and abetment to commit murder.

Meanwhile, the four suspects who were picked up by the Police have been arraigned before court and were charged with preparation to commit murder and carrying offensive weapons by a Cape Coast circuit court presided over by Mrs. Dorinda Smith Arthur.

They are expected to return to court on October 30, 2020.
