Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, Strongman, has openly criticized Rap Fada for claiming to have mentored him in the music industry.
Earlier during an interview with Kingdom FM in Accra, Rap Fada asserted that he had been a guiding force for Strongman during the early stages of his musical career.
However, Strongman has refuted this assertion, arguing that an artiste who took two decades to produce a single successful track is not qualified to be his mentor.
Strongman believes that individuals who fail to recognize the achievements of others and constantly seek to assert dominance over their peers are doomed to face difficulties, a sentiment he feels applies to Rap Fada.
“He seems to be a novice in the industry. Considering it took him 20 years to make a hit, he doesn’t merit my focus. He ought to reconsider his stage name; what claim to ‘Rap’ does he truly have? It’s high time we reassess such titles.
“Had he possessed genuine rap skills, he would’ve been nominated for Rapper of the Year by now,” Strongman expressed during his appearance on Angel FM in Kumasi.
