The Chamber of Pharmacy, Ghana in collaboration with Star Ghana and Supported by UKAid (DFID), DANIDA and the European Union (UN) will on Wednesday, 20th February, 2019 hold a Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum at Miklin Hotel, Kumasi.
The objective of the forum, thepressradio.com understand that is to promote discussions and debate for the review of Food and Drugs Authority Fees and and Charges for GMP factory Inspection, Registration and Re-registration of pharmaceutical products and others matters.
Ghana’s pharmaceutical manufacturing sector is rated the best in the West Africa for the production of high quality drugs due to the stringent regulation, inspection and enforcement procedures of the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
The Chamber of Pharmacy, Ghana is a platform that seeks to promote, protect, pursue and advocate the collective interests of patients, its members, the pharmaceutical industry and the state.
The Chamber, which effectively commenced business in 2013, endeavors to achieve its vision and fulfill its mission with five core values, namely, Co-operation, Respect, Integrity, Professionalism and Transparency.
The Chamber’s five-year Strategic Plan has seven priorities which will be implemented by four committees, namely Finance and audit, Ethics and Judicial Affairs, Research and Advocacy and Membership.
