Retired GBC Radio broadcaster dies
Opanin Akwesi Donkor, a retired Radio Broadcaster of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) has died in Accra.
The late Opanin Akewsi Donkor, who was a former Director of Radio at the GBC, died at the Ridge Regional Hospital on January 30, 2019, at the age of 84 years.
An official statement from the family, signed by Mr Francis Atta Donkor, the Brother of the late Opanin Akwesi Donkor, indicated that details concerning the final funeral rites would be communicated to sympathisers after the Week’s celebration of his passage on February 14, 2019, at his residence in Dansoman.
